Documentation Required for Crossing the Border

US citizens returning home from Canada by land, and Canadian citizens traveling to the United States by land are required to present one of the following WHTI compliant documents:

Passport
US Passport Card
Enhanced Driver's License
Trusted Traveler Program Card (NEXUS, FAST)

Travelers from all other countries must bring a valid passport and one other form of identification. Citizens from certain countries may need a Temporary Resident Visa.
